We’re delighted to share our April 2022 updates with the Mailchain community… and welcome all our new community members.

Summary:

Web3 email is almost here!

The team’s focus remains on platform delivery, with our beta going out to early adopters in May. We’re still hiring engineers and designers. We’re also looking for additional integration partnerships.

Product:

Web app design is complete, mobile design still in progress. User interviews with mock ups & visuals have helped refine some of the launch features, language, and user flows. Thank you to all those who participated in user interviews and shared their thoughts ❤.

Two main areas of UX are important for launch: 1/ sign-up flow needs to be simple and position users for safe messaging; 2/ the inbox experience needs to be engaging and uncluttered.

Rob’s is now dedicated to implementing the backend and hiring for backend.

Community and GTM:

Since launch in January, our discord server has grown organically to >100 members. Big thanks to the early OGs who joined and signalled what’s important to you (identity, decentralisation, low cost messaging, portability, etc.).

We have selected some development partners/ early adopters who will test Mailchain with their super users as a means to stay connected. We continue to scope out new projects to integrate with and use cases to identify the best ways to help users. Team:
